Serve as an appointed committee to continue the work of the Task Force by sustaining ongoing support and action regarding The Church in the City and coordinating a network of key groups within the diocese. Share with the Implementation Committee information, projects and opportunities in which you have been engaged. These can then be shared with other groups in the diocese. Be in contact with this group for assistance, support and networking possibilities.

Establish The Church in the City Grants program. The Diocesan Social Action Office and Catholic Charities have established a fund for the purpose of furthering the work of The Church in the City.Applications will be made available to parishes or parish based schools that address at least one of the five principles of The Church in the City. Priority will be given to those efforts that relate to the Action Plan for 1996-1997 year. Maximum funding is $5,000 and can be awarded up to three years. The goal of this newly established fund is to make $150,000 available in the coming year. Apply for a The Church in the City grant.
