Two new research interns at CITC

Published on 18 September 2026

A very warm welcome to our new interns: Aaron Laviada Lopez and Anirdesh Yalamarthi.

Fontys Engineering Meet & Match

We first met Aaron during the Fontys Engineering Meet & Match last March. At that time, he showed great interest in doing this third-year internship at CITC. Aaron is studying Mechanical Engineering and is interested in precision engineering, tight tolerances, and problem-solving. During his internship, he will work on the design of the next-generation standoff tool for the die bonder.

Master's thesis project

Anirdesh comes from Delft University of Technology and will be carrying out his nine-month master’s thesis project in Nijmegen. He is an Electrical Engineering/Microelectronics student, and his project involves further exploration of diamond integrated co-packaged microfluidic cooling for high-power electronic chips.

We are pleased that these two talented students have joined us. We wish them both a great time at CITC and look forward to the results of their projects.
