Cookie statement

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small information files that can be automatically stored on or read from the visitor’s device (such as a PC, tablet, or smartphone) when visiting a website. This is done via the web browser on the device. These cookies process at least the IP address, the cookie ID, and technical information about the device used. This means that CITC uses your personal data when you visit the website.

Cookies

CITC only uses so-called first-party cookies. First-party cookies include functional cookies that the website itself installs and accesses. These cookies are necessary for the website to function. CITC is not required to request permission for these functional cookies. The website also uses cookies to:

  • Analyze website use and improve the website based on that information (analytical cookies)
  • Collect information about the browsing behavior of our visitors and tailor advertisements to the preferences of website visitors (advertising cookies). All of this is for advertising and marketing purposes.

This cookie statement therefore provides detailed information about the cookies, pixels, and tags for which you grant or deny consent.

Cookie overview

Functional cookies

Placing technical or functional cookies is necessary for the website to function properly.

Analytical cookies

In addition to the data mentioned above, analytical cookies also process the time spent on a particular web page and the order in which the various web pages are visited.

CITC uses Piwik Pro to measure the experience of visiting our website. CITC uses the results to improve this website experience. This company uses privacy-friendly analytics. CITC has, through its collaboration with TNO, entered into a data processing agreement with PiwikPro, which stipulates that Piwik Pro’s processing of personal data complies with privacy legislation.

Please note that CITC will also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure user experience on the website until June 30, 2026. This system has been in use since the launch of the CITC website but will be gradually phased out. This means that the data collected between December 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, will be used for comparison purposes. As of July 1, 2026, only Piwik Pro will be used to optimize privacy-friendly analytics.

If you have given permission for these cookies to be placed, you can always adjust these settings at any time.

Social media
